Up in the Mix Radio
HIP HOP. FRIDAY NIGHTS. RENO.
A weekly two-hour mix of new releases, underground cuts, golden-era classics, and everything in between—selected and mixed by Shaughn Richardson and Cesar Lopez.
FRIDAYS • 10–Midnight • RENO
OVER 280 VOLUMES AND COUNTING
Up in the Mix has been part of KWNK Community Radio since 2017. Every week, Shaughn and Cesar independently dig through the newest hotness, best old-school classics, and overlooked hidden gems before bringing their selections together for a two-hour hip hop mix that spans eras, genres, generations, oceans and borders.
No algorithms choose the playlist, and no corporate rotation dictates the flow. Just two longtime hip hop fans sharing what they love, arguing about what’s legit and what’s wack, and putting together a show worth listening to.
Giving you what you need, not what you want.
